Novel Proteins

Novel Proteins are seen as low allergen. If you pet shows signs of food intolerances, then novel proteins are less likely to cause a reaction. When starting out with an allergic pet, its best to feed each protein individually for a few days to see if there is any reaction before moving on a new protein.
